1979 - Original Stop and Go (same location)
Seaside Stop and Go, Inc. was founded in 1979 by Mike and Tony Morrisey (pictured below). The franchise was later sold to James and Theresa Morrisey in the early 80’s. After almost 30 years of ownership the business was recently purchased by Seth and Aimee Morrisey. They opened the second Stop and Go Convenience Store location in December 2008 in North Seaside, Highway 101. They have plans for many changes in the future including more locations and a name change.
